Ingredients (serves 6)
2 pound bag of frozen or fresh broccoli florets
3/4 cup marinara or meat sauce
8-12 ounces grated mozzarella
optional: some grated Parmesan
fresh basil leaves for top at end
Preheat oven to 500
You will need a non glass 13 by 9 inch lasagna pan , stoneware works great but metal is fine as well.
Place the broccoli (still frozen or fresh) in pan and drizzle with olive oil salt and oregano. Stir to coat.
Bake until starting to crisp up and dry. You don't want any liquid in the pan when you add the other ingredients.
Add sauce and stir.
Add cheeses and pepperoni and bake until golden and crispy on top!
Add fresh basil leaves at end.
