Lemonade

Here are the basic starting proportions for a sweet lemonade - 1 cup of sugar (you may use less if you prefer or substitute 1/2 cup of honey), 1 cup of water, 1 cup of lemon juice.

Secret: You must first dissolve the sugar with the water in sauce pan over low heat and then cool.

Now squeeze 4-6 lemons (1 cup of juice)

Mix together the juice with the sugar water and add 4 cups of water.

Refrigerate for at least 40 minutes.

Serve with ice, sliced lemons.

Serves 6.
